I’m getting a certificate in UX design from Google. No small part of the program is creating a portfolio of UX work. Luckily, user experience is a tenet of journalism. We don’t call them users, though. We call them readers, watchers, or listeners.
Unluckily, I didn’t keep track of the vast volumes of primary and secondary research, interviews, editing, and wordsmithing that go into creating journalism products like articles, podcasts, documentaries, front pages, and online special series.
I’m being a bit more careful with this certificate program. Below are links to the projects I’ve got in the oven or fully baked.
- Description: Improving people’s ability to find and organize their text messages.
- Status: In the oven.
- Email me at email@example.com for the password to explore the project.
